COLLEGIAN GRANTS PROGRAM

Are you a Collegian with an IDEA, INITIATIVE, or SMALL BUSINESS that needs funding support?

Applications are invited from Toorak Collegians for grants and support for endeavors in the following areas:

  • Arts, sciences, sports, media and creative
  • Community, charity and humanitarian
  • Leadership, training and self-improvement
  • Mentoring
  • Innovation and entrepreneurship

Grants funding of up to $1,000 are available for individual Collegians. There are two funding rounds per Calendar year.

  • Funding Round One - 1 -30 April
  • Funding Round Two - 1 - 31 August

The Toorak Collegians Committee shall review and give fair consideration to all applicants and shall advise each applicant of the outcome of their application. Applicants must be personally involved in the endeavor and it must be suitable for publication to the school community. All applicants must be able to provide a funding report to the Committee within 6 months of receiving a grant.

JOAN MINSON AWARD

The Joan Minson Award is issued to a Year 10 student each year in recognition of their demonstration of good citizenship. The award is named after Joan Minson (TC’28) who was the first Head Girl of Toorak College after our move to Mount Eliza. Joan continued her connection with the school throughout her entire lifetime as Board Member, Toorak Collegians Association President, Life Governor and dedicated member of the Archives Department.
